At the end of each year, Sojourner’s boardroom is transformed into a special “boutique”, creating a warm and welcoming environment for our shelter and community clients to choose gifts for their families. The holidays can be a particularly challenging time for the people we serve. With the support of our local community, clients are able to take home toys, pajamas, arts and crafts supplies and more to encourage joy and brightness during the cold winter season. Every year we are amazed by the generosity of those who donate and truly embrace the season of giving. This year we will be collecting items from November 23rd-December 10th, by appointment only. Whenever possible, we also take this opportunity to provide a gift to our clients themselves. Their bravery and strength is worth recognizing year round and it’s wonderful to have the opportunity to do so now. As always, financial donations and gift cards are most appreciated and allow us to support people in a variety of ways.
